Crowdsourcing the FTC

Moving beyond last year’s suggested #ad hashtag for certain tweets, the Federal Trade Commission is gearing up to revise their online advertising guidelines to address the burgeoning social and mobile ecosystems. These 11-year-old guides maintain the notion of disclosure for promoting goods and continue along the path of their 2009 blogger guidelines.
