About

I am a passionate inhabitant of the online space. Intrigued by how folks use the Internet, it has been my good fortune to begin working with the Web in its infancy during the 1990s. It’s been a great ride since. After a decade working in higher education marketing, I’ve been working in digital strategy roles at Fortune 500 firms.

I have the good fortune to share this passion with students of all ages, interests and life experiences. My course, Intro to Online Journalism, is available through UMassOnline 2-3 times a year. The class is part of the Online Journalism Certificate program and an elective toward a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism.

A life member of the UMass Amherst Alumni Association, I am a sitting member of the Association’s Technology and Online Services Committee, which oversees the implementation of expanded technology initiatives and online services to alumni and students. I hold a B.A. in sociology, with a letter in criminal justice.

I live in South Hadley, Mass. with my extremely talented partner Mike and Ella (our beautiful Boston Terrier) restoring an amazing 1913 Colonial Revival.
